Finally she is getting nerfed!
LoL Patch 12.14 Highlights - Bye Seraphine!
League of Legends Patch 12.14 has changed quite a few things in the meta, with the support role being heavily targeted with nerfs to enchanter items, as well as adjusting some of the most popular champions in the position. This patch was crazy, so let's try and summarize the key points.
If you're looking for a full list of League of Legends Buffs and Nerfs, don't worry we've got you covered in our designated buffs and nerfs article. Here we're going to go over the most impactful changes that you should keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
Enchanter Item Changes Impacting Patch 12.14
The enchanter meta is out, or at least it seems like that is what Riot is going for. In the patch notes for this League of Legends patch, the balance team has stated that enchanters were the biggest winners of the durability update back in Patch 12.10 and that now Riot is going to try and make a few targeted changes to support items.
- Forbidden Idol Heal and Shield Power Increase: 10% ⇒ 8%
- Ardent Censer Heal and Shield Power Increase: 10% ⇒ 8%
- Mikael's Blessing Heal and Shield Power Increase: 20% ⇒ 16%
- Redemption Heal and Shield Power Increase: 20% ⇒ 16%
- Staff of Flowing Water Heal and Shield Power Increase: 10% ⇒ 8%
- Moonstone Renewer Maximum Stacks: 5 ⇒ 4
Okay, Items have been nerfed, we get it, but Riot hasn't nerfed these JoJo references in League of Legends yet.
Enchanter Nerfs in LoL Patch 12.14
Not only will items for enchanters be nerfed in League of Legends Patch 12.14, but enchanters themselves are also seeing some big changes in this League of Legends patch. These are the champions that have been OP for too long and Riot is making some changes to gut them.

Gangplank Adjustments in LoL Patch 12.14
So, Gangplank has just been a little too good in recent patches, eh? He's basically one of the few champions we see in the pro-scene being played in the top lane as well, so Riot is going to be making some major changes and making sure it isn't as easy to one-shot crit someone with his barrels in the late game. Let's jump into the changes below!

Early Drakes Power Increased in Patch 12.14
With the durability update taking center stage once more, games have tended to go longer than before. This means that early objectives, like the first drake have lost some of their impact in the game. Therefore, Riot has decided to give the early drakes some more agency.

Not only are each drake getting a slight change to their buffs, but Riot is also giving each dragon some more updates to increase their popularity.

Star Guardian Skins to be Released in Patch 12.14
Of course, we cannot forget the upcoming skins in League of Legends Patch 12.14 either, right? Morgana is going to take the spotlight with her epic skin for sure, but who else is going to be a Star Guardian this patch?
Champion Skin | Skin Tier | Skin Cost |
Star Guardian Syndra Prestige | Mythic | 125 ME |
Star Guardian Akali | Legendary | 1820 RP |
Star Guardian Rell | Epic | 1350 RP |
Star Guardian Quinn | Epic | 1350 RP |
Star Guardian Taliyah | Epic | 1350 RP |
Star Nemesis Morgana | Epic | 1350 RP |
Do note that the Taliyah skin is going to be a charity skin with the proceeds of the first month all going into the Riot Games Social Impact fund. So, if you are going to get a skin, but haven't decided on one yet, then that one would be a good choice, right?
