League of Legends Patch 12.14 is going to implement some more changes to healing. We've already seen quite a few changes on the PBE server so let's check out every single upcoming buff and nerf.

How drastically will changes to Drakes, healing and Gangplank shift the meta in solo queue and the pro scene? There are some big changes coming so let's quickly go over them all so we know what Riot has planned for us. 

 

League of Legends System Changes in Patch 12.14

Drake Durability and Buff Changes

Some of the biggest changes in Patch 12.14 are going to be the updates to the drakes that Riot is implementing in the next patch. Not only are the drakes going to be a bit tankier, but the buffs are also getting updated to fit into the current state of League of Legends. So let's check out the Drake changes. 

Each Drake is going to have some health changes. 

  • Health pre-rift transformation: 3650(+240 per level) --> 3450(+380 per level)
  • Health post-rift transformation 4350(+240 per level) --> 6950(+380 per level)

Which Items Are Getting Changes in Patch 12.14? 

There are multiple items getting nerfs in this upcoming patch. Most of these items are healing and support items, which is in-line with the healing changes Riot announced a while ago. So let's go over all the changes Riot has for healing items.

More System Changes in Patch 12.14

It isn't just items though that will be getting some changes due to the healing adjustments, but a bunch of runes and summoner spells will also be getting updated by Riot in the coming patch.

Champion Adjustments in LoL Patch 12.14

There are multiple champions that are getting changed and adjusted in League of Legends Patch 12.14. The biggest change is going to come to Gangplank who has been a dominant force in pro-play and high elo, which is why Riot wants to move away from of the crit agency of his barrels and put that power into other parts of his kit.

Riot PhRoXzOn has explained on Twitter that they are looking to take away from of Gangplank's early lane power as well to make him more bearable. Will these changes work on the strong top laner?

Gangplank isn't the only champion getting adjusted though, with Wukong, Aatrox, Kayn and Janna also having some of their stats changed around in an attempt to curb healing in League of Legends.

Some champions have also got some buffs coming their way. Teemo is getting another buff. Will we finally see him be played on the pro stage sometime soon? That would be pretty epic to see, right? Teemo might be a hated champion in League of Legends, but one we rarely see in pro games.

Champion Nerfs in LoL Patch 12.14

While the healing changes could look like nerfs for some of the champions, there are other champions on the list who will also be getting changed in the upcoming League of Legends patch just for being too OP in the current patch. Sivir is one of those champions since she's been dominating the bot lane since her mid-scope update

When Will LoL Patch 12.14 be Released? 

Riot is going to release the next League of Legends patch next week Wednesday on July 27, 2022. Before then, we will likely get to open up our Shop once more, and play through the first act of the 2022 Star Guardian event
