Swain update
LoL Patch 12.8 All Buffs and Nerfs | Updated
We are a few weeks out from the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational, which means the balance team is shifting their focus away from solo queue and onto the pro-meta. Therefore, you might be beaten down by Yasuo game-in and game-out, but Riot won't focus on that, instead they'll check out which picks have dominated the pro scene.
So, you'll have to deal with that awful and annoying Yasuo for a bit longer, becasue, spoiler alert, he isn't on the nerf list for Patch 12.8. Which champions are, though? Let's take a look!
Which Champions Are Getting Nerfed in Patch 12.8?
A total of four champions are on the nerf list for this patch. These are picks that could make anyone cry out in fear, especially Pyke who has become a pocket pick in the mid lane thanks to the amount of gold he can generate.

Jinx has been one of the best ADC champions since the release of Arcane. If one champion benefitted from the Arcane buff it was Jinx. Therefore she is receiving some nerfs ahead of the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational, so we can see other champions played in the bot lane, right?
Which Champions Are Getting Adjusted in Patch 12.8?
Two champions are receiving adjustments. The first being Swain who was supposed to get a mini rework in Patch 12.6, but Riot pulled the changes off the PBE server to give the champion some more love. Will he be a drain mage in the mid lane again or continue to strike fear into bot lane supports?

Which Champions Are Getting Buffed in Patch 12.8?
This is the longest list of the bunch, with a total of sixteen champions on the buff list for the patch. But do champions like Jhin and Ezreal really need buffs? These are ADCs that always sneak their way into any meta, so seeing them here is a bit odd.

Vladimir is a great pick, even in the mid lane. If you're curious about this champion, then make sure to read up on it in our Vladimir Champion Guide! Maybe he'll be the go-to mid lane pick after these buffs, eh?
Those are all the changes which will be heading our way on the Rift. Who else is hyped to see T1 and G2 at this year's Mid-Season Invitational again? Who else is going to make their opponents quiver in their boots? 100 Thieves maybe?
