Please don't leave us, Arena Mode!
LoL Arena Mode: Riot Reveals Potential Future For Game Mode
Even though many players love LoL's new Arena Mode, we already know that it will be leaving us on August 28, 2023, at the end of the Soul Fighter event.
Some players worry that Arena Mode may not return to us, or at least not in the near future, just like we haven't seen Nexus Blitz in ages, unless you play on the Turkish server.
But, that doesn't mean the Arena Mode will be gone forever, right? Well, one hint from a Riot dev gives us a glimpse at the new game mode's future.
Arena Mode's Future In LoL
While we don't know when we'll be seeing LoL Arena Mode again, but thanks to a Reddit comment from Rioter Daniel "Maxw3ll" Emmons, we know that Arena Mode will be returning to us!
The dev team behind LoL modes is currently discussing what changes will be made to Arena Mode, which makes sense, since it was designed to accompany the Soul Fighter event with the Soul Fighter cameos we've played against.
Maybe we'll finally be able to multi-queue, or even play as 3v3v3v3. The chaos would never end.

The good news is, Maxw3ll told the community that "none of the options on the table involve abandoning [Arena Mode]."
We can expect to hear more about Arena Mode's future and what changes are planned, according to Maxw3ll, in the next update from Andrei "Meddler" van Roon and Jeremy "Brightmoon" Lee.
