In the world of esports, professionalism and accuracy are the keys to success. Every pro League of Legends player knows how important every little aspect of the game is. However, sometimes even the best of us make mistakes.

A perfect example of this, is LOUD jungler Croc and the accident that took place during the recent MSI 2023 tournament... you all know what we're talking about right? The incident is related to the purchase of jungle items.

MSI 2023: Croc Forgets Jungle Items

The first LOUD vs. G2 Esports game at this year's MSI was a disaster, as Park "Croc" Jong-hoon forgot to buy items in early game. Nevertheless, it would not have had such a big impact if the Korean had not realized in time.

In the first minutes of the game, an unaware Croc, playing Sejuani in the jungle, calmly waited for the spawn of the red buff. Yike, meanwhile, playing Nidalee on the opposite team decided to invade, but unsuccessfully. Croc may have finally gotten the buff, but he only realized about the lack of items when he didn't get the level up. By then it was too late.

However, his mistake was not as disastrous as it could have been, with Thiago "tinowns" Satori getting first blood thanks to the Korean jungler. After that, the two teams continuously tried to gain the advantage, making the game state basically even. This was changed by the first team battle, which took place as early as the 16th minute. In it, LOUD won five for two and claimed Herald, which looked promising, despite the small mistake at the beginning.

But after that situation, the limit for mistakes for LOUD was already reached. The game took a turn for the worse for the Brazilian representatives, when they too far, and Rasmus "Caps" Winther and his team prevented them from recalling. From that point on, it was G2 that came out on top, first winning in the mid lane and even capturing Nashor. Then pushing the top lane and capturing the inhibitor. The final straw that broke the camel's back was G2 setting a trap, waiting for LOUD to step into it... which they did. This was a death sentence for the CBLoL representatives.

To sum up this match, Croc handled it like a true league pro player, leading his team to victory in the early and middle game. Despite the big early fail, it did give us a really big dose of excitement.
