LoL Patch 14.5 Patch Notes: All Buffs & Nerfs Revealed
Patch 14.5 is upon us and with it some more changes to Rek'Sai and big changes to Seraphine.
We are now in Patch 14.5 and finishing split 1 of the ranked season soon.
This patch mainly includes the changes to Seraphine but also a few changes to Smolder and some after rework changes for Rek'Sai.
LoL Patch 14.5: All Champion Changes
Seraphine is getting some work done. Riot is tired of the champion only being played in the bot lane caster position and wants to fix her back into the support role. She was initially designed as a mid laner, but this idea has since been scrapped.
Seraphine
- Mana growth reduced from 50 → 25
- Mana regen growth increased: 0.4 → 0.95
- Base AD reduced: 55 → 50
- Move speed increased: 325 → 330
- Passive – Stage Presence Base damage per note changed: 5-30 (1/6/11/16) → 4-25

- AP ratio per note reduced: 5% → 4%
- Minion damage reduced from 300% to 100%
- Q – High Note
- Base damage increased: 55-155 → 60-160
- Missing health max bonus damage increased: 50% → 60%
- Cooldown changed: 10-5 → 8-6
- Mana cost changed: 65-85 → 60-100
- Missile speed increased: 1200 → 1300
- W – Surround Sound
- Speed AP ratio reduced: 4% per 100 AP → 2% per 100 AP
- Cooldown changed: 28-16s → 22-18s
- Mana cost reduced: 80-100 → 70-90
- E – Beat Drop
- Base damage changed: 60-200 → 70-190
- AP ratio increased: 35% → 50%
- Slow duration changed: 1.25 flat → 1.1-1.5
- Minion damage reduced: 100% → 70%
- Cooldown changed: 10 flat → 11-9
- Mana cost reduced: 60-80 → 60 flat
- R – Encore
- AP ratio reduced: 60% → 40%
- Cooldown increased: 160-100s → 160-120s
Smolder
- Auto attack windup reduced: .26 seconds → .25
- Q – Scorcher Breath
- True damage burn reduced: 6.5% max HP → .25%
- True damage burn now scales with 2% per 100 bonus AD, 1.5% per 100 AP, 1% per 100 stacks
- E – Flap, Flap, Flap
- Number of shots no longer scales with crit chance
- Now scales with 2 shots per 100 stacks
- R – MMOOOMMMM!
- Base damage reduced: 22-475 → 200-400
- Sweet spot bonus damage increased: 30% → 50%
- Base heal reduced: 110-210 → 100-170
- Heal now scales with 50% bonus AD
Yorick
- E – Mourning Mist
- Ghoul bonus damage reduced from 30% to 20%
- Maiden resistances increased: 10-50 (10-18) → 30-90 (6-18)
LoL Patch 14.5: All Champion Buffs
These Champions have been underperforming a bit in the previous patches.
Jarvan IV
- Passive – Martial Cadence
- Cooldown reduced: 10-8s → 10-6s
- Armor per level from 4.8 to 5.2
Rhaast/Red Kayn
- Passive – The Darkin Scythe
- Healing now scales with 0.5% per 100 bonus HP
- R – Umbrail Trespass
- Healing increased from 65% of pre-mitigation damage to 75%
- Equals 9.75% max HP + 6.5% per 100 bonus AD to 11.25% max HP + 7.5% per 100 bonus AD
Kog'Maw
- Q – Caustic Spittle
- Cast time changed: .25s → auto attack windup
- Q-auto can no longer be canceled
- E – Void Ooze
- Slow increased: 30-50% → 40-60%
- R – Living Artillery
- Min AD Ratio from 65% to 75%
Sivir
- Base armor increased: 26 → 30
Veigar
- Q – Baleful Strike
- AP ratio increased: 45%-65% → 50%-70%
- R – Primordial Burst
- Cooldown reduced: 120-60s → 100-60s
Vex
- Passive – Doom 'n Gloom
- Base damage increased: 30-140 → 40-150
- AP ratio increased: 20% → 25%
- E – Looming Darkness
- Killing units with E now grants P refund
Wukong
- Passive – Stone Skin
- Number of stacks reduced: 10 → 5
- Bonuses per stack increased: 50% → 100%
- Stacks now fall off 1 every second after 5s instead of all at once
Rek'Sai
- Auto-attack improvements
- Q-auto can no longer be canceled
- lots of bug fixes
- E – Furious Bite
- 100 Fury Damage from 6-14% Max HP to 8-14%
- Monster Cap from 60-400 to 75-400
- R – Void Rush
- Damage from 100-400 +100% bAD +20-30% Missing HP to 150-450 +100% bAD + 25-35% Missing HP
LoL Patch 14.5: All Champion Nerfs
Some champions were a bit too OP, which is why Riot is going to be nerfing them going forward. There is a whole list of champions getting nerfed, but we only have the exact numbers for a few of them thus far.
Bel'Veth
- Passive – Death in Lavender
- Stacks per Grub: 3 → 2 (9 → 6 if she takes all 3)
- Stacks from rift herald: 3 → 2
- E – Royal Maelstrom
- Damage reduction reduced: 42%-70% → 32%-60%
Brand
- R – Pyroclasm
- Base damage reduced: 100-300 → 100-250
- Cooldown increased: 105-75s → 110-90s
Evelynn
- R – Last Caress
- AP ratio reduced: 75% → 50%
Maokai
- Move speed reduced: 335 → 330
- Q – Bramble Smash
- Bonus monster damage increased: 80-160 → 120-160
- W – Twisted Advance
- Cooldown increased: 13-9s → 14-10s
Nidalee
- Move speed reduced from 340 to 335
- Q – Takedown (Cougar Form)
- Bonus damage against hunter targets reduced: 40% → 30%
Senna
- Q – Piercing Darkness
- Damage bonus AD ratio reduced: 50% → 40%
Twisted Fate
- E – Stacked Deck
- Attack speed reduced: 10%-60% → 10%-50%
- Bonus AD ratio reduced: 75% → 20%
Vayne
- Passive – Night Hunter
- Move speed reduced: 45 → 30
- Q – Tumble
- Cooldown increased: 4-2s →6-2s

Celestial Opposition
- Cooldown reduced from 20 seconds to 18
- Slow increased from 50% to 60%
- Slow duration increased from 1.5 seconds to 2
Dream Maker
- Damage reduction changed: 140 flat → 75-255 (6-18)
- Bonus damage changed: 90 flat → 50-170 (6-18)
Frozen Heart
- Cost increased from 2400 to 2500
- Armor reduced from 70 to 65
Heartsteel
- Base damage reduced: 100 → 80
- Health ratio from items increased: 10% → 12%
Navori Quickblades
- Pickaxe replaced by B.F. Sword
- AD increased from 60 to 65
Solstice Sleigh
- Cooldown increased from 20 to 30 seconds
- Move speed reduced from 30% to 25%
- Bonus health changed from 7% max HP to 50-230
Sunfire Aegis
- Base damage increased: 12 → 15
- Health increased: 450 → 500
