The next League of Legends patch is going to be 13.3 and while it seems like we've been waiting for ages, Riot has given players the bad news that they will have to wait just a bit longer until the changes can be shipped to live servers.

So, when will LoL Patch 13.3 actually go live and most importantly – when is the Aurelion Sol CGU finally going to be on live servers?

LoL Patch 13.3 Pushed Back According to Patch Notes

Since the last League of Legends patch didn't even ship properly, some fans have been waiting patiently for the next true League patch to finally go live. Due to the hotfix patch, Riot even mistakenly deleted every single change from 13.1b when they tried to make a few fixes.

Well, now Riot have also revealed, in the official LoL Patch 13.3 Patch Notes, that it would be delayed as well. Lilu “Riru” Cabreros wrote, "We’re working to bounce back from the Social Engineering attack, but unfortunately Patch 13.3 will be delayed".

Shortly after the patch notes went live though, it was also revealed when the patch would actually go live and we can all breathe easy. It won't be another two weeks or anything, instead Riot is looking to push the patch out a day late.

Yes, so LoL Patch 13.3 is set to be released on February 9, 2023 instead of February 8. For those of you on the SEA server you'll have to wait for February 10, 2023, but that's probably just due to time differences, with Riot sitting on the west coast of the US.

Aurelion Sol Comprehensive Gameplay Update Release

The release for ASol's CGU is also delayed because of the recent cyberattacks. He will still be released in LoL Patch 13.3, but he won't be dropped onto live servers right when the patch goes live, but rather a week later. Due to the cyberattacks he only had a week on the PBE for testing, so Riot will probably let him cook there for one more week so they can weed out the worst of the bugs in his kit.

The Valentine's Day skins and the other balance changes should be in the client on February 9, 2023 and February 10, 2023.
