Nexus Blitz is back in LoL Patch 13.22, but what other key balance changes will hit League of Legends in this update? Let's check out all the buffs and nerfs so you're up-to-date!

LoL Patch 13.22 brought some much needed Nerfs to overpowered champions like K'Sante or Senna.


Also, in Patch 13.22 for League of Legends, the highly anticipated boyband project, HEARTSTEEL, takes the center of the rift.

There will also be some key balance changes as Riot gears up for the preseason. Sure, the LoL preseason will only be on PBE, with all changes going live when Season 14 kicks off, but we still expect some adjustments to bleed over onto live servers in the coming weeks.

  • W - Defensive Ball Curl 
    • Base bonus Armor increased 30 >>> 40

Mages Attack Speed Adjustments

  • Attack Speed Ratio reduced 0.668 >>> 0.625
  • Attack Speed per level increased 2% >>> 2.2%
  • Attack windup reduced 20.0535% >>> 20.0%

Anivia

  • Base Attack Speed increased 0.625 >>> 0.658

Annie

  • Base Attack Speed increased 0.579 >>> 0.61
  • Attack Speed ratio increased 0.579 >>> 0.625
  • Attack missile speed increased 1200 >>> 1500

Cassiopeia

  • E - Body Slam
    • cooldown refund changed from 3 seconds to 40%
  • R - Explosive Cask
    • cast time reduced from 0.55 seconds to 0.5

There's a new max CDR build going around and it's pretty wild. It is also kinda troll, but there's basically no counter play to it, because you just get stuck in E. That's why they changed the E refund from flat to percentage. 

Briar

  • Q - Head Rush
    • Base damage reduced 60/100/140/180/220 >>> 60/95/130/165/200
    • Target's armor reduction reduced 10/14/18/22/26% >>> 10/12.5/15/17.5/20%
  • R - Certain Death 
    • Explosion damage reduced 150/325/500 (+110% bAD) >>> 150/300/450 (+75% bAD)

Graves

  • E - Quickdraw 
    • True Grit bonus Armor reduced 4/7/10/13/16 >>> 2/5/8/11/14

Kassadin

  • E - Force Pulse

  • P - An Acquired Taste 
    • bHP ratio reduced 5% >>> 4%

Janna is getting a major overhaul in LoL Patch 13.22 with some big changes to her passive and base stats. Riot is also targeting her Q, giving her more damage and also making her W more meaningful. Could this be the return of Janna mid Lane in 2023?

    • Health Growth: 84 >>> 90
    • Base Mana: 350 >>> 360
    • Mana Growth: 64 >>> 50
    • Base AD: 52 >>> 47
    • AD Growth: 3 >>> 2.5
    • Armor Growth: 5 >>> 4.5
    • Attack Range: 500 >>> 550
    • Attack Windup: 22% >>> 20%
  • P - Tailwind
    • No longer grants Janna speed toward allied champs (allied champions still gain 6% speed toward Janna)
    • Now deals 20% - 35% bonus MS (1 / 6/ 11 / 16) magic damage on basic attack and W
  • Q - Howling Gale
    • Min damage: 60-160 +35% AP >>> 55-195 +50% AP
    • Max damage: 105-265 +65% AP >>> 85-285 +80% AP
    • Cooldown: 12s >>> 14s
    • Cost: 60-100 >>> 90-110
    • Range indicator will now show both the min and max range, instead of just the max
    • Range indicator will now use a halfwidth of 100 instead of 120 (actual missile halfwidth unchanged at 120)
  • W - Zephyr
    • Passive speed is no longer lost while on cooldown
    • Cooldown: 12s constant --> 8s-6s
    • Cost: 50-90 --> 50-75
    • Base damage: 80-200 --> 55-195
    • Slow duration: 3s --> 2s
    • Range indicator: 650 --> 615 (actual cast range unchanged at 650)
  • E - Eye of the Storm
    • No longer gains 15% HSP for 4s on applying movement impairments to champions
    • Shield duration: 5s --> 4s
    • Shield no longer decays
    • Base shield health: 75-175 --> 80-220
    • Cooldown: 15s-9s --> 16s-12s
    • Now refunds 20% cooldown on applying movement impairments to champions
    • Cost: 70-110 --> 70-90

Seraphine

  • P - Stage Presence 
    • Damage adjusted 4/8/14/25 (+7% AP) >>> 5/10/18/30 (based on level 1/6/11/16) (+5% AP) 
  • Q - High Note 
    • Cooldown : 9/8/7/6/5 >>> 10/8.75/7.5/6.25/5
  • W - Surround Sound 
    • Shield AP ratio reduced 25% >>> 20% AP

Brand

  • P - Blaze Ablaze 
    • Monster damage ratio increased 220% >>> 230%
  • E - Conflagration 
    • Damage adjusted 65/90/115/140/165 (+55% AP) >>> 60/90/120/150/180 (+60% AP)

System Changes In LoL Patch 13.22

Riot is also making some system changes. One of the biggest changes it the one for out of vision attacks which could favour ranged champions, especially in ranged vs melee match ups like we often see in the top lane could feel buffed with the changes. 

  • "Out Of Vision" Attacker Reveal:
    • Radius: 400 >>> 300
    • Duration: 4.5s >>> 2s
  • Ping Changes:
    • More celebration: Within 10 seconds of getting an epic objective takedown, all allied pings directed at your champion are visible to your team.
    • Ping lockout timer reverted: 5s/15s/30s/60s/120s ⇒ 6s/12s/16s/20s/24s. This was originally changed in 13.19 but did not make the patch notes.
    • The “Alert” and “Enemy Missing” pings can only be used 3 times before being rate limited.

The skins will be added to the skin catalog of League of LegendsThese are all going to be Epic skins priced at 1350 RP, except for Kayn being legendary at 1820 and Yone being Prestige at 2000 Tokens.
