G2 Hel Wins the Rising Stars Tournament
Over the weekend, we witnessed G2 Hel becoming this year's Rising Stars Champions.
The Rising Stars is the official women's League of Legends tournament in Northern Europe with the goal of bringing more representation to the talented women we find in the LoL scene. This weekend, G2 Hel proved themselves dominant by winning the Rising Star tournament in a typical G2 manner - from the losers bracket.
The final match of the tournament was G2 Esports Hel against QLASH Midnight. Before the finals, QLASH had already gained a lot of respect and proven to be a worthy competitor after beating G2 for a spot in the finals. However, G2 Hel fought through the loser bracket and won the final series 2-0.

G2 Hel was by many the clear favorites going into the series because of their stack of talented players across all roles. Especially, G2 Hel's botlaner Caltys has been considered one of the best players in Europe.
Final Results of the Rising Stars
Even though G2 Hel went home with the victory, we also have to give praise to the top contenders in the Rising Stars tournament. Throughout the weekend, around thirty all-women teams came together to compete for the grand prize. In the end, these teams made it to the top of the standings:

- Zerolad female
- SKGaming Avarosa
We are thrilled to see how well the tournament went and cannot wait to see more competitions like this in the future. Who knows, will G2 Hel become the equivalent of the past G2 team we know so well and keep bringing the victory home in Europe?
