LoL Worlds 2023: Only Five Correct Pick'Em Survive The Swiss Stage
LoL Worlds 2023 has been a banger, with some pretty highly anticipated teams bombing out on stage, but one team has beaten all odds and in the entire world there seem to be five believers.
With the 2023 League of Legends World Championship Swiss Stage coming to an end, it's also time to check out how the Pick'Ems are going this year. In 2022 not a single person managed to guess the correct outcome with DRX going on a run unlike any other before.
This year seems to be just as spectacular with some of the most promising teams not making it into the knockout rounds. Because of how unpredictable the Swiss Stage is, only five people still have the right predictions going into the Quarterfinals.
LoL Worlds 2023: NRG Run Only Predicted By 5 People
A lot of luck has to go into the correct Pick'Em and with the 2023 League of Legends World Championship also changing the format, it seems even more chaotic than in previous years.
LoL fans were able to usually predict the outcome of a 4-team group with decent accuracy. This time around though, only the teams making it out of the Group stage, mattered and a lot of luck had to go into the picks there.
A team like NRG managed to beat LEC and LCS teams to earn a spot in the Worlds 2023 Quarterfinals, while the best western League of Legends team from the last few years, G2 Esports, seemed to completely implode on stage, losing to both NRG and BiliBili Gaming, thus getting eliminated way before everyone expected.
But there were five hopefuls out there, five people who didn't stop believing in the LCS – and granted I also had C9 in my Pick'Em, so there is always a touch of hopium out there.

Now it's up to these five people to have the correct prediction throughout the Quarterfinals and other knockout rounds. Otherwise, players can also just let the coin decide when they forget to lock in their predictions.
The next round of the League of Legends World Championship will continue on Thursday with NRG against Weibo Gaming. This grudge match will be a repeat match of one of the Swiss Stage games. Will NRG be able to get their revenge or is Weibo Gaming just an unsurmountable obstacle for the NA hopefuls?
