Ever since his mid-scope update, Olaf has been a menace in both the top lane and the jungle. He's back in form and players just don't know what to do with this viking on steroids. Seriously, that's how it feels when you're going up against this machine of a champion.

So, to help you out even post-durabiltiy update, we've taken three champions that will definitely work against Olaf. So, if you want to know how to counter this champion, keep reading! These are the three best counters to Olaf!

Which Champions Counter Olaf?

You will not be picking weak early game champions when going up against Olaf, since he'll be able to crush them with ease and snowball from there. That's why you need someone who can go toe-to-toe with him from the get-go. Also, remember that you should always build Grievous Wounds, since he's able to heal up quite a bit to sustian through any fight and skirmish.

3. Kha'Zix

Kha'Zix is one of the best 1-vs-1 champions in the game. He can jump onto his opponent, shred half their health and the fight is basically won from there. Olaf won't have time to counter this menace and will have a horrible time against the Void creature. He can burst Olaf down before he's even got a chance to lifesteal back up again, making him the perfect pick into the viking.

If you're playing Kha'Zix make sure not to go all-in right at the beginning. Wait until you're level 6 and then the fun can start. Kha'Zix will outscale Olaf in the long run and his late game will be much more impactful than the other jungler. You can save yourself from any dangerous fight as well by simply... jumping away.

2. Fiora

For anyone who is a top lane main and has had to face Olaf there, we've also got a pick for you to main. Fiora basically hard counters any and everything at this point in time. She's got percentage max HP true damage, a dash which can kite him with ease and an ability which lets her delete any ability from the game for almost a whole second. Fiora has got it all to counter Olaf.

You will have to keep moving to avoid getting hit by Olaf, but she is a mobile champion so that won't be hard. Then, you proc his vitals and go for short trades. Make sure you know when to take those trades though and when they will go in your favour. You'll be able to get him low by using your Q, E and then W. Once he's low you go for the kill. It's that simple. When it comes to healing, Fiora's ultimate sure does a good job as well and Olaf won't be able to lifesteal his own health back before he's faced with a grey screen.

1. Trundle

Trundle can be played in both the top lane and the jungle, just like Olaf, making him a great champion to play into the other pick. Pick Lethal Tempo on Trundle, stand still and auto the other champion to death. Seriously, that's the game plan when you pick trundle into Olaf. It's probably the most simple champion to play when facing the other.

With Trundle's Q you're able to steal AD from Olaf. This means the other won't even be doing any damage to you. Like at all. What's that tickling you? Oh, Olaf is trying to get through your beastly armor? In his dreams. Once Olaf realizes that mistakes were made, all you've got to do is block his way with a well-placed pillar. Then you use the copious amounts of attack speed you've got to auto the other to death. If all that wasn't enough to kill Olaf, just use your ultimate to suck out his stats and boom! You're unkillable and Olaf is nothing more than a glorified minion.

So, there you have it folks, these are the three champions you should definitely learn how to play. Olaf is a frightening champion in the meta and he's become much more popular thanks to his mid-scope update. So, what are you waiting for, learn to play some Olaf?
