All LEC Rosters Ahead of the 2022 Season

The 2022 LEC season will kick off two-weeks into January. Some teams are looking extremely strong with brand new rosters, while we still don't know what to think of some other ones, but what we do know is that we're ready for the LEC fiesta that is to come. 

Since rebranding as the LEC, the European League of Legends Championship has become one of the most viewed and popular pro-leagues. The casting and production is through the roof and so we're going to check out which teams we will be watching come January 14, 2022.

Astralis 2022 Roster - Confirmed

Astralis quickly finished their roster by adding in their mid laner Dajor and picking up native Danish talent with bot laner Kobbe. This team is an upgrade from their 2021 roster so we're excited to see where they'll land at the end of spring. 

  • Top Lane: Matti "WhiteKnight" Sormunen
  • Jungle: Nikolay "Zanzarah" Akatov
  • Mid Lane: Oliver "Dajor" Ryppa
  • Bot Lane: Kasper "Kobbe" Kobberup

Excel Esports 2022 Roster - Confirmed

Excel Esports hasn't done too much this off-season switching a few players around between their Academy and official roster. They're banking on young and upcoming talent from the EU so we're going to be cheering for them this year! 

  • Top Lane: Finn "Finn" Wiestål
  • Jungle: Mark "Markoon" van Woensel
  • Mid Lane: Erlend Våtevik "Nukeduck" Holm
  • Bot Lane: Patrik "Patrik" Jírů
  • Support: Henk "Advienne" Reijenga

Fnatic 2022 Roster - Confirmed

This roster looks amazing. The addition of Wunder in the top lane is great, as well as Humanoid in the mid lane. With the winning bot lane of Hyli and Upset, Fnatic looks rearing to go this season.

  • Jungle: Iván Martín "Razork" Díaz
  • Mid Lane: Marek "Humanoid" Brázda
  • Bot Lane: Elis "Upset" Lipp
  • Support: Zdravets "Hylissang" Galabov

G2 Esports 2022 Roster - Confirmed

Caps and Jankos are the only pieces still left from their 2021 season. The rest of the team was built around the pair. Broken Blade joins from Schalke 04 and he is known to play well, but we're going to have to wait to see whether this roster can compete at the same level as 2019/2020 G2.

MAD Lions 2022 Roster - Confirmed

The mid lane and the bot lane had to be changed due to players leaving the org after the loss to DAMWON KIA at the 2021 League of Legends World Championship. Will this roster be able to compete at the same level in 2022?

Misfits Gaming 2022 Roster - Confirmed

Misfits Gaming have added a few new pieces while keeping the core of their 2021 Roster together. They had an incredible summer split, so hopefully, this roster will be able to emulate the same results this year.

  • Jungle: Lucjan "Shlatan" Ahmad
  • Mid Lane: Vincent "Vetheo" Berrié

Rogue 2022 Roster - Confirmed

With the departure of Hans Sama to Team Liquid ahead of the 2022 season Rogue had to find a new bot laner to take his place. They also gained a new jungler with Malrang so we're excited to see what this team will do in 2022.

  • Mid Lane: Emil "Larssen" Larsson
  • Bot Lane: Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos

SK Gaming 202 Roster - Complete 

With a new Jungle-Mid duo SK hopes to have better results in 2022. Will Treatz swapping to support also help this team into the playoffs in the coming year?

Team BDS 2022 Roster - Complete 

Team BDS takes the spot of Schalke 04 after their departure in 2021. Will the newcomers be able to dominate the field right away in 2022 or will it take some time for the org to find their place in the LEC?

Vitality 2022 Roster -Complete

This is the roster most are excited about. There were multiple rumors surrounding Vitality and their roster in 2022 and the rumors all came true. So, french League of Legends fans, get hyped because this roster is stacked!
