Preseason is when Riot implements big changes into League of Legends to experiment and improve for the next season. For this year's preseason, Riot Games seems to have done something different, and these new changes even made the LoL streamer Tyler1 happy.

It isn't rare to see Tyler1 complain about the LoL client. Even this year, Tyler1 ragequitted the game after the remaking feature didn't work as expected. This resulted in him being punished despite leaving a 4v5 match, which again made Tyler1 displeased.

This time, however, Riot's new changes for preseason have had a different effect on the streamer, and he, for once, seems positively surprised.

The first change that brought a smile to Tyler's face was the new recommended Rune Page loadout. In order to avoid the usage of third-party programs, Riot Games has implemented its own recommended ability loadout to help newer players decide what will fit best for their play style.

Tyler was impressed with the loadout because he found the three options fitted what players usually decide and found them pretty good "on Draven at least."

The second feature that impressed Tyler1 in the client was the new option to swap pick orders. This allows players to freely choose which player on the team picks first, which is good when some of the players don’t have the champion they want to play or just in general to avoid the additional step needed to pick each other's champions. This change, in particular, made Tyler very pleased, and he said it was "kinda goated."

All in all, Tyler finds both changes "pretty crispy," and he is surprised that the features weren't buggy, which isn't a rare instance in the LoL client.

Are you happy with the preseason changes?
