LoL Patch 12.03 Preview

We have scoured the internet, checked out the PBE Server, all this to figure out what will happen in the upcoming League of Legends patch! Zeri was just released, the chemtech drake nerfed and Vayne got a visual update, so what does Riot have up their sleeves for LoL Patch 12.03? 

With so much happening this early on in season 12, we have to take a breather, just to catch our bearings. What is happening on the PBE server right now for us to get excited about? The removal of Viego? A rework for Neeko? Maybe a visual update for our main boy Cho'Gath? Well then, let's check out what we can expect from LoL Patch 12.03. 

Crystal and Withered Rose Skins in LoL Patch 12.03 

Of course, we have to start with the obvious explanation of which skins we will be receiving. We've already talked about the upcoming Crystal Rose skins, and Zeri even already received her Withered Rose skin, but who else gets to go to a bougie party with fancy dresses and suits? 

Which Champions Will Get Crystal and Withered Rose Skins? 

A total of three champions will be getting skins in LoL Patch 12.03. Originally we had thought these skins would come out in Patch 12.02, while the Porcelain and Firecracker skins would be released later, but alas even Riftfeed makes some mistakes. We're not perfect. 

So, these are the champions getting new skins in LoL Patch 12.03: 

• Crystal Rose Janna
• Crystal Rose Akshan
• Withered Rose Elise

Now I've got horrible arachnophobia, but honestly? I'd get that Elise skin and actually play the spider lady. 

Ahri Rework in LoL Patch 12.03

During the Season 12 live stream, it was announced that Riot's favorite champion, Ahri, would be getting a rework. Thank you. She is in dire need of one and as the poster girl of League of Legends it's only natural that after champions like Caitlyn and Syndra got a facelift, so would the nine-tailed fox girl... demon... who knows. 

So, what is Riot trying to do with her rework? Riot will try to modernize her, while keeping her core elements alive. Thus she will be much better to play and stay a mobile mage. 

What Is Being Updated on Ahri's Kit?

These are the abilities that are going to be buffed: 

• W - Damage increase, mana cost decrease, flame duration increased and movement speed increased
• R - Duration to last 15 seconds and consuming a champion's essence with Essence Theft (P) while R is active extends its recast duration by up to 10s and grants an additional cast of Spirit Rush. 

These are the abilities that will be nerfed: 

• Base Stats: Health, health regen and armor lowered
• Q - Mana cost increased

Two of her abilities will also be adjusted: 

• P - killing minions or monsters grants Ahri an Essence Fragment. After obtaining 9 fragments, Ahri consumes them to heal. When Ahri scores a takedown against an enemy champion within 3 seconds of damaging them, she feasts upon their essence and healing herself. 
• E - Damage adjusted and mana cost decreased, but no longer grants 20% damage amp on the target. 

Ahri will also receive new visuals and sounds for all her skins and her base skin. 

When Will the Ahir Rework be Released? 

Whether the rework is going to go live in LoL Patch 12.03 is not yet known. Caitlyn also had quite a long rework and it wasn't released until a few patches later. 

This Ahri rework seems extensive, so we aren't sure whether it will really be released in LoL Patch 12.03 or if we have to wait until a later date.
