After the multitude of changed from previous patches, Patch 12.12 comes as a breath of fresh air. No new champion, no huge durability changes, just regular champions buffs and nerfs, as Riot is continuing to try and iron out the kinks in their most recent changes to the rift.

Of course, that includes changes to some changes to give them a boost or tone them down, while also nerfing the newest member of the League of Legends family – Bel'Veth. Katarina Changes in Patch 12.12

Riot wanted to dissuade people from building bruiser and tank builds on Katarina and instead want her to be a hyper-mobile assassin. To do that they've changed her kit around, most notably her ultimate and now it can execute people in the blink of an eye... all you need to do is build attack speed.

R - Death Lotus	Physical Damage Per Dagger: 16% (+12.8% per 1.0 total attack speed) bonus AD ⇒ 16% (+16% per 0.7 total attack speed) bonus AD On-Hit Effectiveness Per Dagger: 25/30/35% ⇒ 28/33/38%

Just build items like Kraken Slayer on her and watch as she shreds through anyone and everyone on her hit list. She is going to be insanely broken this patch with these adjustments. So maybe we will see a hotfix at some point?

Bel'Veth Nerfs in LoL patch 12.12

Bel'Veth has entered the rift and she is insane. She's one of the best junglers in the current meta and it means that Riot has decided to nerf her. Of course, they have, so let's quickly check out what nerfs she was hit with, but if you're curious about all the big fixes as well, then make sure to check out the official patch notes as well. This is just a highlights' article, after all.

Essence Emporium in Patch 12.12

Essence Emporium usually takes place in May or June. This year it's a bit later than usual, but it seems like we will have to enjoy what we can get, because Riot has already announced that this will be the final Essence Emporium for a while as they work on the system and improve upon it. Does this mean we get more unique skins with our excess Blue Essence? I wouldn't oppose to it, honestly...

To make up for the future lack of Essence Emporium, Riot is also adding in missions which are going to give players 30 Mythic Essence to make up for it. It still isn't enough for us to get that sweet new Star Guardian Ekko Prestige though... sadge.

Of course, we cannot ignore the new skins that we are receiving in this patch. Three new skins will be hitting the rift and even though they're winter themed they're incredible. With the current heat wave, I wouldn't oppose to a bit of snow, right?

Ashen Knigth Pantheon Skin in Patch 12.12

We also get a new mythic skin in the mythic shop, which is going to be the Ashen Knight Pantheon skin. Did you save enough Mythic Essence to pick him up? Thankfully, Riot is giving out 30 free Mythic Essence this patch through missions, so you will have time to get some more ME and maybe you'll pick him up, eh?
