LoL Worlds 2023: When Will The Play-In Group Draw Show Take Place?
The 2023 League of Legends World Championship will feature a Play-In phase as we are used to from previous Worlds. But when will the group draw take place?
The LoL Worlds 2023 are going to be split into three phases. Two of them are going to be the same as in previous years, while the middle part, the longest, of the main event is going to be part of a brand-new format. But today we're going to be ignoring the main event and taking a closer look at the Play-In phase.
Which teams are competing, and when can we finally know which teams will face one another in their respective groups?
LoL Worlds Play-Ins: Teams Qualified

First of all we should know which teams are qualified for the 2023 League of Legends Play-In phase. Eight teams will be playing in this portion of the event. The first seeded teams of the minor regions, as well as the second seeds of the PCS and VCS.

Finally either Team BDS or Golden Guardians of the LEC or the LCS will take part as well, but they first have to play the Worlds Qualifying Series to determine who will receive the final spot at the World Championship.
Before teams are put into groups, they are added to two pools. First, teams from Pool 1 will be added to the two groups, before the final four spots will be distributed to the last teams from Pool 2.

- PCS #1 (CTBC Flying Oyster/PSG Talon)
- VCS #1 (GAM Esports/Team Whales)
- PCS #2 (CTBC Flying Oyster/PSG Talon)
The PCS and VCS will be playing their finals on September 9, 2023 which will determine the seeding for these regions.

CBLoL will play their final between paiN Gaming and LOUD on September 9, 2023 to determine who will represent Brasil at the 2023 League of Legends World Championship in South Korea.
When Will The LoL Worlds 2023 Play-In Group Draw Take Place?
The Play-In Group Draw is going to take place after the 2023 LEC Season Finals which are set to take place on Sunday, September 10. The match should start around 6 pm CEST, which means that 3 to 5 hours later the Play-In Group Draw show should start.
