LoL Patch 13.24: All Balance Changes On Live Servers

LoL Patch 13.24 is finally here and there are some major changes we are preparing for in this patch.

LoL Patch 13.24 just graced the rift. This is the final patch of the 2023 League of Legends season, with it even bleeding over into 2024. While we won't have a preseason as usual, there are some pretty insane changes in this patch.

A brand-new high skill champion is being added to the rift, and we are going to be getting the 2v2v2v2 Arena back as well. So let's go over all the balance changes that Riot adjusted for the last patch of the year. 

LoL Patch 13.24 Patch Notes: Hwei Revealed

Hwei is the newest League of Legends champion. Unlike the previous champions released in 2023, he's a high skilled mid laner. The catch? He's got 10-abilities. Yes, players love to complain about overloaded kits, well here is one for you. 

Hwei is going to be released in the evening of December 6th, and if you're unsure how to handle all of those abilities, make sure to check out our initial guide so you can get a feel for the champion and what he actually does... because he can do a lot.

  • Fixed a bug where the first half of the rift would fizzle if Vel'Koz died directly after casting.

LoL Arena Release In LoL Patch 13.24

LoL Arena is back for the Winterblessed event. We were promised a return at the start of December and with this patch being released early in December it's the perfect time. 

This second-run of Arena features some differences though, with Riot adding in changes to the pick/ban phase, where only the first partner of the duo blind picks their champion, while the second gets to see the other players picks and then choose his champion. 

There are some old cameos from the Soulfighter event as well, and adding two new cameos from the Winterblessed skin line to spice things up.

New LoL Skins In Patch 13.24

Winterblessed 2023

We also got some new skins along with a new in-game event. The World's 2023 event is over, and it's time to check out the next in-game event which will feature nine new skins!

The Senna skin is her second legendary skin and it looks incredible. This is a super nice event with some incredible skins and the story line of the Winterblessed skin line is also pretty cool. 

Crystalis Motus

Crystalis Motus Taliyah also left the mythic shop, and we are moving onto the next skin in this rare and unique skin line: Crystalis Motus Ashe. The Ashe skin is made available in the mythic shop for 3-months before we move onto a new skin, or even a whole new skin line. 

LoL Patch 13.24, released on December 6, 2023 and is going to be live until January 9, 2024, when the new patch for Season 14 drops.
