Gwen Changes in LoL Patch 12.13
Gwen hasn't been the best solo queue champion, while tearing up the pro leagues. She's been able to dominate thanks to her sustain and damage, as well as her ultimate which has made her one of the most picked champions in professional League of Legends, while suffering immensely in solo queue.
Therefore, Riot has decided to make some changes to her kit which should benefit her in solo queue while making her easier to balance for pro play as well. Let's check out the changes to Gwen.

Sivir Mid-Scope Update in LoL Patch 12.13
With Riot re-working a bunch of older champions, Sivir was next on the list. Taliyah and Olaf's mid-scope updates have landed fairly well, which is why Riot has taken a stab at Sivir who has fallen off as one of the best late game ADCs in League of Legends.
That's why she's been updated to have stronger AoE DPS and upped her damage potential immensely. Will these changes have an effect on Sivir and is she going to be more popular once the update has truly settled in? Or will she continue to fall short to champions like Twitch and Kog'Maw who are currently some of the best late game champions?

Master Yi Has 2 Reworked Abilities
Master Yi is a menace in low elo and with the changes coming in LoL Patch 12.13 he might be even more obnoxious. Low elo players should beware that he is going to be doing a lot more quick healing throughout elongated fights.

The added attack range is also huge for Master Yi since he will be able to truly dish out the damage. He's an auto-attack heavy champion that will be able to shred through anyone thanks to these changes to his kit.
Nilah Released in LoL Patch 12.13
Of course, we cannot forget about Nilah, the newest champion in League of Legends. She is a quick melee bot laner who will destroy anyone in the late game. Seriously, we've played her on PBE and she is so fun and insanely strong in the late game.
Her W has a pretty long cooldown so you'll have to use the untargetability wisely before you can cast it again and her ultimate isn't truly there to deal damage, instead you'll be using it to heal up after an extended trade. Just check out her abilities and once she's available on the rift.
Ability | |
Passive - Joy Unending | Nilah amplifies the healing and shielding abilities of nearby allies. Allies that heal or shield Nilah gain a bonus heal or shield for themselves. And when an allied champion heals or shields themselves near Nilah, she gives herself a bonus heal or shield. If Nilah last hits an enemy minion, she and her nearest allied champion will gain the normal amount of shared experience, plus half of the experience that would have been lost due to sharing. |
Q - Formless Blade | Active: Nilah’s Formless Blade strikes in a line, damaging all enemies hit. Hitting an enemy will briefly increase Nilah’s attack range and attack speed and empower her basic attacks, causing them to splash in a cone and deal additional damage. Passive: Attacks and ability damage against champions ignore some of their armor and heal Nilah for part of the damage dealt. This effect scales with crit chance and converts any excess healing into a shield. |
W - Jubilant Veil | Nilah shrouds herself in a Jubilant Veil and briefly gains bonus move speed, takes reduced magic damage, and dodges all incoming basic attacks. Touching an ally champion hides them in the veil as well, but they’ll be protected for a shorter period. |
E - Slipstream | Slipstream lets Nilah dash through a target unit, traveling a fixed distance every time and damaging all enemies she passes through. She can store up to 2 charges at once. Cast Formless Blade during Slipstream to pull a wave in your path, dealing damage after a quick delay and granting Formless Blade's enhanced basic attack effect. |
R - Apotheosis | Nilah unleashes a surge of power, lashes her whip in an area around her and, with a final burst, pulls enemies in toward the center. Apotheosis heals Nilah for part of the damage dealt, converting any excess healing into a shield. This effect scales with crit chance and is granted to nearby allies. |
