Doublelift is reportedly making a comeback into the LCS and will play alongside his former teammate Bjergsen on 100 Thieves.

Bjergsen and Doublelift have both made quite a name for themselves in the North American LoL scene. Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg, originally from Denmark, has played in NA since 2014. Since then, he spent a whole seven years with TSM and became known as one of the best mid-laners in the region.

At one point in the off-season, it looked like Bjergsen was considering returning to Europe for 2023. But we now know that he is here to stay for at least another season.

On the other side, we have Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng. The ADC has played for even longer than Bjergsen and is mostly known for his time in CLG and, later, TSM. After his time with TSM, Doublelift announced in 2020 his plans to move away from the competitive scene and instead focus on streaming.

However, with the recent news, Doublelift is looking to make his return to the LCS after a two-year break. Doublelift was already rumored to be returning to the LCS at the beginning of the off-season, but the new update from LEC Wooloo confirms everyone's suspicions.

Who Will Play Alongside Bjergsen And Doublelift on 100 Thieves?

With Doublelift and Bjergsen joining 100 Thieves, we are excited to see what the team can bring going into 2023. But who will play together with the NA stars?

According to LEC Wooloo, it looks like 100 Thieves will continue with their jungler Can "Closer" Çelik for next year. Closer and 100 Thieves made it to the finals against Cloud9 this year, where they fell short and lost 0-3.

In the top lane, 100 Thieves is looking to promote their academy player Milan "Tenacity" Oleksi to play for the 100 thieves LCS roster alongside Bjergsen, Doublelift, and Closer.

As for the support position, it is currently unknown whether 100 Thieves' current support Huhi will be Doublelift's partner in the bot lane. However, Huhi's contract does not expire before the end of 2023, so we will likely see him with the team for another season.

With the recent update, the entire 100 Thieves roster looks to consist of Tenacity (top lane), Closer (jungle), Bjergsen (mid lane), Doublelift (AD Carry), and Huhi (Support). Nevertheless, it is important to note that we currently find ourselves in the middle of the off-season and that the current roster is subject to change.

What do you think about the new 100 Thieves roster?
