LEC Spring 2022 Playoffs | Everything You Need to Know

The 2022 LEC Spring Split has come to an end. The final six teams are standing and ready to take on the playoffs to try and earn their spot at the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational

Which teams are playing when? What chances does Excel have at making it to the finals after finally making it to the playoffs after years of trying? Where were you when Excel made the LEC playoffs? 

 

Which Teams Qualified for the 2022 LEC Spring Playoffs? 

6 teams qualify for the playoffs in the LEC. Rogue were the best team of the season, with the usual players also making the playoffs in G2 and Fnatic, but who else has made the cut? 

  1. Rogue - 14 Wins | 4 Losses
  2. Fnatic - 13 Wins | 5 Losses
  3. Misfits - 12 Wins | 6 Losses
  4. G2 - 11 Wins | 7 Losses
  5. Excel - 9 Wins | 9 Losses
  6. Vitality 9 Wins | 9 Losses 

MAD Lions, who were the back-to-back LEC champions in 2021 did not manage to make the playoffs this year. They completely revamped their roster ahead of the 2022 season and will likely make some changes ahead of the summer split. 

When Will the 2022 LEC Spring Playoffs Start? 

The LEC Spring playoffs will kick off on March 25, 2022. You'll be able to watch as Rogue takes on Misfits in an exciting match between the first place and third place team after the regular season. 

You'll be able to tune in at 6PM Central European Time, or 12PM Eastern Time to watch the match. Who do you have your money on? 

The classic G2 vs. Fnatic match will be the following day on March 26, 2022 while Vitality and Excel will battle it out in the losers bracket on Match 27, 2022.

You can watch the action on the official League of Legends European Championship Twitch channel, as well as their YouTube channel. You can also tune in on the official lolesports website, where you can watch the stream as well.
