2023 is here and we want to take a look ahead at the upcoming professional League of Legends season. Which players should we keep an eye on with so many player transfers happening in one off-season? Well to help you keep track we've decided to point out a few key players that could shape the way the 2023 season goes for their team.

These are the players you should definitely keep an eye on throughout the 2023 League of Legends season.

Must-Watch Players in 2023

5. Zeka & Kingen - Hanwha Life Esports

Zeka & Kingen have played together on multiple teams already. For the 2023 season they both decided to leave the 2022 League of Legends World Championship team behind to help build a brand-new monster team on Hanwha Life, alongside Viper who managed to win the trophy in 2021.

While the 2022 LCK splits weren't impressive by either Zeka nor Kingen, fans are excited to see what this duo will be able to do after they won the biggest trophy in LoL esports. Will they be able to carry Hanwha Life and earn the org their first LCK title?

4. Prince - FlyQuest

FlyQuest have built an incredible roster for their 2023 season. The biggest signing was probably their new bot lane player Lee "Prince" Chae-hwan who dominated the 2022 LCK. He was the stand-out player on Liiv Sandbox and at the end of the year he decided to make the jump from the LCK to the LCS.

FlyQuest is looking strong with their 2023 LCS roster and Prince is going to play a huge role this year if FlyQuest look to take down teams like Cloud9 and Team Liquid who also look strong going into the 2023 season. During the 2022 LCK Summer Split Prince showed his prowess on multiple champions like Aphelios, Kalista and Sivir so we hope to see him have another standout year in NA.

3. Bo - Team Vitality

The Chinese native joined Team Vitality as a sub in the Summer of 2022. He didn't get to play in the jungle yet though, familiarizing himself with the European climate before getting thrown into the professional esports scene. He quickly became the number one ranked player on the EUW server and will likely tear up the LEC as well.

Bo had been a promising young talent on the FPX squad, but when it came to light that he was a part of a LDL match fixing scandal he was let go and removed from the team. He found a new home with Vitality and will be their starting jungler in 2023.

2. Ruler - JDG

For the first time ever we are going to see Ruler in a different jersey and with a different team. He's been a part of Gen.G since he first joined the LCK so seeing him in a different jersey is going to be odd. Especially since he is also going to be a part of the LPL in 2023.

JDG is looking strong on paper so it'll be interesting to watch Ruler on such a star-studded roster full of carry players. Will he be able to put up insane damage and kill numbers as he did in the LCK? We are going to have to watch the LPL closely to find out.

1. Pyosik - Team Liquid

It's never easy to move to a different team right after winning the biggest trophy in esports. But moving to a whole new region right after is likely going to be even harder. Pyosik didn't find a home in the LCK this off-season due to DRX muddled history, but he did manage to find a team for 2023 that he said he's excited to join.

This is going to be the young junglers first time playing on a different team, even moving to a different continent. It'll be interesting to see how he deals with the change in atmosphere and the move to NA, but the Team Liquid roster looks stacked and with a veteran like CoreJJ on the squad it'll likely be easy for him to get used to the LCS.
