Worlds 2022 is about to start, and we are nearing the end of the competitive League of Legends for this year. Throughout the season, we witnessed underdogs taking over in their region, and old legends prove they are still a force to be reckoned with. The teams that didn’t qualify for Worlds 2022 are now taking a well-deserved break before we turn our heads to next year.

We can expect a lot of changes going into 2023, and even though the season isn’t done for everyone, some players have already started planning their future in another organization. Even players under contract have been looking for new teams, but most of the changes we can expect to see for next year will happen to the players with contracts running out after this season. It is important to mention that this does not mean they are secured to change their team, however, it is more likely for a player with an expiring contract to change their team than it is for a player with a contract lasting for several years.
